After 20+ years in a corporate role, Andy opened the first Barkley’s on Main Street in Flemington in 2011. Barkley’s gets its name from Andy's beloved greyhound, a retired racing adoptee who passed away in 2006. From the beginning, Andy and his team have focused on providing high-quality food and pet supplies, educating customers, providing amazing customer service, and supporting the community. Andy is proud that Barkley's has built a loyal following of regular customers. He is grateful to the clients for their support, and to the Barkley’s team for their dedication. At home, Andy and his partner Ari share their home with a pack of dogs including several adopted “Seniors” who hold a special place in their hearts.

Brian has over 15 years experience in the pet business. He joined the Barkley’s team in 2022 because he wanted to be a part of a community-based pet store. “Barkley’s is a special place that brings together people, pets, and community organizations, and I love being a part of it.” When not helping customers and their humans, Brian is working on improving Barkley’s website and researching new products for the stores.

An avid lover of all pets whether furry, feathered or covered in scales; Dustin became a member of the Barkley’s crew in January of 2021. Born and raised in nearby Pennsylvania, Brian has over 10 years experience in the pet retail business, and plans to one day own his own pet supply company. Brian is driven by high standards for service, and an enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge about healthy eating for pets. Albeit a bit goofy from time to time, he’s always looking to lend a helping hand… or paw!

A new member of our team, Dana has extensive experience in animal welfare and wildlife conservation. She has taken care of animals with scales, fins, fur, feathers, and hair! Dana is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and experience with other pet lovers. Any questions... she has you covered! When she’s not at Barkley’s, you may find her hanging out with the bats she helped rescue through Pennsylvania Bat Rescue or caring for her pets which include dogs, cats, a fish, and a snake.

The newest member of the Barkley’s team, Paige has years of pet retail experience as well as a wealth of experience with exotic animals. Her work in the zoological field has allowed her to interact with a variety of critters including large snakes, two-toed sloths, and exotic birds like parrots and bald eagles. There isn’t much Paige can’t handle! Besides working at the zoo, she has her own zoo at home, including a dog, three mischievous cats, a tarantula, and a ball python. Paige is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you and your animal companion are provided with the best care possible.

Growing up with animals since childhood, Lyndsay fell in love with the idea of working with pets and people. Lyndsay enjoys learning about animal behaviors and nutrition and working with customers to choose products to help their pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Kristen is a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, NJ and a lifelong animal lover. She has owned horses, dogs, and cats, and says “animals are truly my passion.” Kristen has worked as an equine veterinary technician for over 19 years and in pet retail stores for 10 years. Kristen loves helping customers find solutions that make their lives, and the lives of their pets better!

Jackie, Mom to pups Edgar and Oscar, has worked within the pet care and holistic studies fields since 2018; she joined the Barkley's pack in 2022.

Jackie trained with the UC Davis Program of Veterinary Medicine to advance her knowledge of pet companion health, healing, and nutrition. Jackie’s strives to “help animals and people to be their healthiest and happiest versions!” She plans to one day become a Holistic Veterinarian.
